MICHELLE PUZZO, PRESIDENT
Michelle graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1998 with her BS in Physical Therapy. She has worked as a Physical Therapist in outpatient clinics and for the last 8 years in homecare. Michelle has developed a passion to write and is inspired by her two boys, Oliver and Finnigan and recently released 2 children’s books. She has combined her passions and created UR Community Cares, Inc. to help others and make community’s better. She feels driven to bring people together to enrich their lives.
CAROLINA ABED, SECRETARY
Carolina graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2005 with a BS in Finance. Currently a Coldwell Banker Realtor serving clients in Central Connecticut. Previously lead a diversity education non-profit as Director of Community Affairs focused on fund raising, strategic planning, and community outreach. Her passion projects are aimed at promoting educational equity to reduce the social-economic disparity in Connecticut.
MCCANN BIRMINGHAM, TREASURER
M.D. graduated from the University of Connecticut with his BS in Sociology and received his MS at University of New Haven in the School of Education. Entrepreneur: IP Portfolio is not limited to Inventor of US and International Patents, Writer as independently published, Founder, Humanitarian of Eternal Optimism, and other ventures applicable to the global community.
